Groundworkers / Labourers

Due to expansion we have a number of positions available for Ground Workers. AGA Bioengineering Systems Limited is a nationally recognised leading Bio-engineering Contractor who specialises in projects in the aquatic environment. We undertake contracts across the UK from our base in Merton, Norfolk. Bioengineering has become the favoured method of achieving high standards of effective erosion control, water quality and habitat improvement where a sustainable environmental approach is important, it helps our work in enhancing the development of our infrastructure be it motorways, railways or airports. We undertake the rejuvenation and protection of canals, waterways and the landscape using eco-friendly products and systems wherever possible Key skills & requirements: Full driving licence. CSCS Card is essential. Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills. Willingness to learn bio-engineering techniques whilst on the job. Knowledge of standard health and safety regulations within the Construction Industry Able to travel and be prepared to work away from home the majority of the time Monday to Friday. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Fully responsible for ensuring appropriate PPE requirements are adhered to at all times Ability to take instruction from Site Supervisor and / or experienced Bioengineers Experienced in Site working in both own sites or that of Principal Contractors Salary will be commensurate with experience
