Our client, a well-established asbestos and environmental consultancy providing specialist and professional services across the UK, is now actively seeking to employ a commercially focused and astute Asbestos Contracts Manager to work for them in the Essex area, consideration will be given to applications from London, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.
Job role and requirements:-
- Must come from a strong asbestos/ technical/management/removals/contracts background.
- Have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos removals industry.
- Completing risk assessments and method statements - and writing tenders, specifications/appraisals and ASB5 notifications.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements to expand their client base.
- Be versatile, flexible and the ability to continually adapt to changing requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be prepared to take the business to the next level.
- Hold a full clean driving licence.
- Overseeing project work, supervising and managing staff/team/operatives, assessing potential contracts and estimating.
- Managing and organising teams/staff to complete contracts in a professional way.
- Delivering good services to the company's portfolio of clients and at the same time making recommendations to improve the services.
- Collating comprehensive management reports using company procedures within time frame.
