M&E Engineering Manager (Heathrow)

DQ Associates are currently looking for an experienced engineer to join a major main contractor in their Heathrow office. Our client is one of the Europe's leading civil contractors. With over 50 years history their portfolio contains several major infrastructure projects across the UK and mainland Europe. Due to a recent framework expansion an opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineer with a mechanical and electrical background to join their team in 2017 and be part of the team permanently based at Heathrow Airport. Reporting directly to the project director you will be responsible overseeing numerous M&E projects, both landside and airside on Heathrow Airport. Projects include AGL, Aircraft stands, car parks, Paxcons, Life Safety Systems, Advertising Displays, Boiler houses and Sub Stations. To apply for this role you will need to be tertiary qualified and / or hold relevant engineering experience. You will have worked with a major contractor in a similar role on either highways, rail or airport projects. You will be familiar with the installation of AGL, runway approach lighting, PAPIs, ILS Systems, Fuel valve chamber installations, fuel stop button installations, HV/LV substations, guidance signs and other small works projects within a safety critical environment. Candidates will be commercially astute, have excellent IT skills and will be well versed in modern health and safety regulations An excellent salary plus package and a clear career progression path will be given to the successful candidate.
