Quantity Surveyor - Rail

We are working with a main civil engineering office to recruit a Quantity Surveyor, with experience of working on UK railway contracts, for their regional offices in Leeds. The main purpose of the role will be to liaise with the operational site teams to ensure commercial opportunity is being realised at every stage. This will require you to report back to the Commercial Manager using MS Excel. You will also be required to monitor plans in respect of EoT claims. Forecasting and budgeting will also be important duties as well as WIP, earned value analysis, and client liaison. Given the above it is important you come from a main contracting, civil engineering, background. You should have developed excellent IT skills in terms of the MS Office suite paying particular attention to Excel and Outlook.
