Drainage Design Engineer – Leeds, United Kingdom Salary £35,000 to £40,000 Job description Our Clients are looking to appoint a Civil Design Engineer to grow our team in Leeds. You will work primarily with our Civils team in providing infrastructure design support to them on their exciting portfolio of building led projects. Our clients will provide you with a working environment that provides challenge, enjoyment and a real sense of satisfaction with a view to encouraging personal and professional development in all our staff. • You will be expected to have the following personal attributes and skills: • You will have strong IT skills in the use of the above-mentioned technical software, Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD combined with a practical approach. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment whilst also having personal initiative. • You will be able to show that you have strong communication and personal effectiveness skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. • The position is for an individual who we expect will be fully conversant with our industry standard design software packages, PDS or Civil 3D and WINDES. You will also be fully proficient in the use of Autocad. The right candidate must be capable of working independently in producing drawn details of their design work in the form of Autocad drawings for regulatory approval and construction. You must also demonstrate an aptitude, and preferably an ability, to effectively delegate design responsibility to others and act in a mentoring role to less experienced staff
