Senior QS - Power

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior QS to join a main civil engineering contractor working out of regional offices in Leeds within their Power division. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for a variety of projects. Primarily you will be involved at the front end or ‘work winning’ process by engaging with the tender team. When this isn’t practical there are a number of legacy projects that require some close out and you will find yourself working between the two roles, but primarily in work winning. To be considered for the role you should be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the Power sector within the UK with specific reference to NPG and NGN contracts. You should be degree qualified, come from a main contractor background and ideally be a member of RICs or a similar body.
