Senior Quantity Surveyor

Currently we’re working with the regional office a national civil engineering contractor to secure the services of a Senior QS to work within their Power division. Reporting to the Commercial Manager your role will mainly be focussed on procurement. This will include buying sub-contractors, drafting sub-contract orders, working with the sub-contractors on site, etc. To be considered for the role you should be able to demonstrate a strong background in QSing within the construction environment working for main contracting organisations. Although this is a job with a civils contractor they are prepared to look at people with the right skills in procurement from any construction discipline as long as you come from a main contractor background. Knowledge of CECA Blue Form and NEC forms of contract would be an advantage. At this stage my client is only looking to employ degree qualified candidates from main contractor backgrounds.
