Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join an established, privately owned, civil engineering contractor with their head office on the Lancashire / Greater Manchester border.
Working between the office and site you will be responsible for a variety of schemes. Currently the company is doing less sub-contract work and is looking to work as main contractor for local authorities and private clients. This can involve work in a variety of disciplines so we are looking for someone with a multidisciplinary civil engineering background.
To be considered for the role you should be able to demonstrate a progressive career that has led you to be either currently working as a Project Manager or looking for that step up. Ideally you’ll be degree qualified but HNC/HND would be acceptable if you have the right level of experience. In terms of a multidisciplinary background you should have gained experience in waste water, utilities, roads / highways, groundworks, etc…
As this employer is a medium sized company it would be an advantage if you came from a similar sized business.
