Estimator

Our client is a well established and rapidly expanding building contractor that have grown year on year throughout the region. Carrying out a range of building and refurbishment projects up to £10 million, they work with a range of public and private sector clients across South Wales. Due to ongoing growth they have approached us with the requirement to recruit an experienced or Estimator to join their team. Your role will involve providing a timely and efficient estimating function reporting to senior management on all issues. Specific roles and responsibilities may include: Tender estimates resulting in contracts that meet or exceed business expectations Deliver accurate prime cost submissions to the adjudication meeting in a professional and logical format Identify the risks in conjunction with other bid team members Obtain suitable market quotes in substantiating preparation of prime cost Handover of successful tender information in a manner that the site teams are suitability briefed The role would suit an experienced estimator who is capable of working efficiently and effectively on such projects. You will have a strong and proven main contractor background with recognised companies
