Civil Engineers

We are recruiting Site Engineers and Senior Engineers to join a well known civil engineering contractor in the Yorkshire region Our civil engineering client has numerous major scale projects across a number of sectors and require those delivering civil engineering services to be on top of their games. Their success in numerous sectors include. Commercial and mixed use civil engineering projects; Education and health sectors; Distilliary and major enabling works on virgin ground; Roads, highways and infrastructure services; Exhibition centres and major landmark projects Power, Energy and renewables Their Opportunities As a result of securing major work within the build environment our client is looking at bolstering their Engineering team by recruiting Experienced Senior and Site Engineers to work on long term projects. You will be involved in the full lifespan of projects from the enabling works and cabin set up, through to hard landscaping with all civils elements and complex foundations, structures, raft founds and super structure work in between. The Site Engineers will be responsible for on site and off site engineering duties such as; Setting out control points and co-ordinates off plan Structural concrete grid formation and supervision on high volume continual concrete pours Creation of As Built Surveys All Quality Assurance paperwork and Health and Safety reports Assisting with design changes and working with the Surveying and Management team to discuss and agree all engineering options to achieve the work. Assisting with planning future phases of the project using Microsoft Project Liaising with client representatives over quality and delivery All associated paperwork relating to Engineering and output levels Personal Development If it is freelance of full time work you are looking for, please contact me as our client strive to supply relevant and structured programmes of training to all Engineering and production staff. You should possess a UK certificate within Civil Engineering, typically from HND - BENG or similar. You MUST have working experience of the UK construction and civil engineering market, hold a current CSCS and/or SMSTS with First Aid and be competent using instrumentation including Trimble and Leica Robotic. You should possess at least 2 years post-qualified experience within civil engineering as an Engineer and hold a current drivers license.
