Salary: £30,000 plus package 

The Client has grown to become one of the most respected names in the building, property development and construction industries. They have grown over the last two centuries are now in a leading position – floated on the Stock Exchange – it’s an exciting time to be join them. The Client is looking for an ambitious, proactive, positive person who enjoys problem solving and is happy to work UK wide. Ideally you will have 1 to 2 years hands on experience working as a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor and have a passion for this field of work.

Key Responsibilities:        

• Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with their duties as well as undertaking your own minor contracts.
• Your working week will involve spending three days on site.
• liaising with sub-contractors and measuring materials and quantities by analysing drawings.
• two days a week spent in the office preparing subcontract orders for approval by the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• preparing subcontract payments with current contracts and final accounts.
