Building Services Manager Central London Up to £100,000 + Package I'm currently working with a well-established main contractor that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, residential and mixed-use developments across London. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they're looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Manager to take ownership of MEP delivery on complex projects from pre-construction through to handover. Up to £100,000 basic salary Comprehensive package including travel, pension and private healthcare Long-term, secured project pipeline across London Genuine opportunity to progress within a growing business Collaborative team with a strong technical reputation The Role As Building Services Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the mechanical and electrical aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the full MEP delivery from design through to commissioning and handover Coordinating consultants, subcontractors and design teams Reviewing technical drawings and ensuring buildability Managing RFIs, technical submissions and design changes Monitoring programme, quality and compliance throughout delivery Chairing MEP coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders Supporting commissioning, testing, O&M manuals and final handover Working closely with Project, Commercial and Site teams to ensure successful project delivery What we're looking for Previous experience as a Building Services Manager, MEP Manager or Technical Services Manager Main contractor or specialist M&E contractor background Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services Experience delivering commercial, residential, mixed-use or fit-out projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage projects through the full construction lifecycle This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a respected contractor with a strong order book, interesting projects and genuine opportunities for long-term progression. SENIOR ESTIMATOR LONDON £90,000 - £110,000 + Package An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join the commercial team of a highly successful and well-established property developer delivering one of the most significant regeneration projects currently underway in London. The project forms part of a £2.8 billion masterplanned development , which will transform a major London site into a vibrant mixed-use destination incorporating residential, commercial, retail, leisure and extensive public realm. This is a genuinely long-term opportunity to join the project at a key stage and play a major role in shaping the commercial strategy and delivery of the development. The Role As Senior Estimator, you will work closely with the Commercial, Development, Design and Construction teams, taking ownership of estimating and cost planning across a range of major packages. You will be involved throughout the pre-construction and procurement process , providing detailed cost advice and supporting key commercial decisions across the development. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed estimates, cost plans and budgets Reviewing designs and specifications to identify commercial opportunities and risks Producing cost estimates from early feasibility through to tender Managing and analysing subcontractor and supplier tenders Undertaking detailed cost and value engineering exercises Supporting procurement strategies and package development Working closely with Design, Development, Commercial and Construction teams Monitoring market conditions, material costs and construction rates Providing accurate cost information to support development and investment decisions Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and project forecasts About You The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and pre-construction , ideally gained within a developer, main contractor or consultancy environment. You will have: Strong experience as an Estimator / Senior Estimator Extensive pre-construction and cost planning experience Experience working on major residential, mixed-use or regeneration schemes Strong knowledge of construction methods, procurement and subcontractor markets Excellent analytical and commercial skills The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical information Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working on large-scale developments would be highly advantageous The Opportunity This is much more than a standard estimating position. You will be joining a major development at an early and highly exciting stage, with the opportunity to work across a £2.8bn programme and have genuine influence over cost, procurement and delivery strategy.
