The successful candidate will have strong bricklaying skills along with a broad range of general building experience. You will be working on a variety of projects, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments, repairs and general maintenance. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and consistently works to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Bricklaying, blockwork and stonework Building walls, extensions and other structures Pointing, repointing and brick repairs Setting out and working from drawings where required General building and maintenance work Concrete, foundations and groundwork Plasterboarding and making good Carrying out repairs and refurbishment work Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work area Liaising with other trades and working as part of a team Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard Requirements Previous experience as a Bricklayer / General Builder Strong bricklaying and blockwork skills Good knowledge of general building practices Able to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, hardworking and punctual Good attention to detail Professional approach to work Full UK driving licence would be advantageous Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential
