SHEQ Officer Hybrid Southport office & North West Sites £40,000-£43,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Our client, EFT Group is a well-established and growing group of businesses operating across construction, electrical and life safety. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a proactive and organised SHEQ Officer to join their Business Excellence team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in improving health, safety, environmental and quality standards across multiple businesses and projects. The Role You will support a wide range of construction, fire, security and electrical projects, helping to maintain compliance, drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out site inspections, audits and safety assessments Supporting compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards Producing and reviewing RAMS and risk assessments Managing COSHH assessments Investigating incidents, near misses and implementing corrective actions Delivering toolbox talks and SHEQ briefings Maintaining ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) Updating CHAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline, RESET and other certification portals Supporting PQQs and customer compliance documentation Maintaining SHEQ records, reports and business risk registers Working alongside project teams to ensure safe systems of work are followed Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business About You We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and passionate about improving standards. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a stable and well-established business with long-term opportunities for the right candidate. The Role They are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects across the North West. You will be responsible for managing project delivery from construction phase through to completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, strong health & safety awareness, and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Typical site operating hours are 8:00am 4:30pm, although flexibility may occasionally be required to meet project demands.
