The role is based 4 days in the office, and requies a proactive and highly organised team player with strong experience in sales support and coordination within the commercial interiors or furniture industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales Support Responsibilities Prepare and issue project quotations and cost plan budget Support the sales team in the specification of products and technical requirements. Produce detailed cost plans suitable for client presentation. Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for product information, lead times, and pricing. Coordinate and manage fabric and material sampling for client approvals. Verify all order acknowledgements and specifications to ensure project accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience running their own projects, able to go to site and carry out any measurements / checks they need to, able to identify any issues around plans or regulations, and the ability to draw accurate drawings with a high level of detail. My client is a leading Design and Build company specialising in very high end Office Fitout - with projects ranging in value from 3mil up to 30mil and more. They are currently expanding their team and are on the lookout for a Senior Technical Designer. You MUST be able to use Revit. Roles: Strategise projects, clients in regard to winning strategies, de-risking, quality control, competency and compliance amongst others project specific. Manage client expectations and maintain clear communication on technical aspects of the design. Oversee/create the technical design documentation from schematics, sketches through to construction. Lead/create the design coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, public health etc., and the full construction team. Translate the conceptual designs into detailed, buildable solutions without compromising design intent, cost, compliance, or programme. Review/create all technical drawing packages from design development to construction documentation including practical completion. Oversee/assist in the resolution of complex design challenges related to structure, finishes, systems, and constructability. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance in all technical drawings, documentation, and specifications. Review reference materials and site documentation to ensure design accuracy through allocated projects. Enforce technical design standards and best practices. Support the Design team by offering solutions that balance aesthetic goals with practical execution.
