Planner Central Belt, Scotland Edinburgh or Glasgow Office choice Projects across Central Belt Car Allowance included £60,000 - £65,000 We are recruiting an experienced Planner to join a large building services and construction team within a large UK organisation. As Project Planner, you will be working across a portfolio of large construction new build, extension and building services projects, you will be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring project programmes to support successful delivery. Key Responsibilities of Planner Develop and maintain project programmes from inception through to completion. Manage integrated programmes across multiple projects. Produce cost and resource-loaded schedules. Monitor progress, identify programme risks and develop recovery plans. Support NEC3/NEC4 contract administration and programme impact assessments. Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and programme analysis. Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial, Design and Operational teams to ensure successful project delivery. About You Essential: Experienced using Asta Powerproject preferred Primavera P6 or similar experience also considered Experience planning complex construction, MEP and building services or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of critical path analysis and programme risk management. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Desirable: Project Controls experience. APM Planning & Scheduling Practitioner or PMI-SP qualification. Experience with Power BI and Earned Value Management (EVM). Experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts. Site Manager (Contract) Braehead, Glasgow £30 per hour Weekly Pay We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for a large-scale commercial refurbishment project based near Braehead, Glasgow . This is a unique and fast-paced project involving a full commercial rip out and refurbishment, including full fit out internally, roof works, and the coordination of multiple specialist subcontractors. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget ahead of handover. As the structure has been built, we require a strong fit out Site Manager to have experience on internals and roof works. Key Responsibilities Oversee site operations and H&S Manage subcontractors including HVAC installers, roofing contractors and associated trades for interior fit out. Ensure works are delivered on time and within budget Maintain high standards of health & safety on site Coordinate programme delivery and site logistics Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders Monitor quality and progress throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Previous experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager on commercial refurbishment projects Strong experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on refurbishment projects Excellent management and communication skills Ability to drive programme delivery under tight timescales SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Contract Details Start Date: 31st August 2026 Duration: 9-week contract through to handover Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm Saturdays: Optional Pay: £29 per hour Payments: Hourly pay. They have opportunities on new schools in Edinburgh & Glasgow before September. Commercial install works predominantly. As a leading business in UK, they have opportunities throughout Scotland with an office near Glasgow for Mechanical Project Managers and Electrical Project Managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical and commercial background who can manage projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle from planning through to completion. Lead project delivery, ensuring programme, cost, quality and safety objectives are achieved. Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and project reporting. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
