About the Role As a Waste Management Loader, you will work as part of a collection crew responsible for the safe and efficient collection of household and commercial waste, recycling, and green waste across the borough. Key Responsibilities Collect household, recycling, and garden waste in accordance with scheduled routes. Assist the driver and collection crew in maintaining efficient waste collection services. Ensure waste and recycling containers are handled safely and returned appropriately. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Report any issues, hazards, or incidents to supervisors. Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents and businesses. Support the council's environmental and recycling objectives. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and outdoor work in all weather conditions. Awareness of health and safety practices. Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality public services.
