Job Title: Procurement Assurance Manager Salary: 49k - 55k Location: London Hybrid: 2 days on-site Working Pattern: Full Time Contract: Permanent Sector: Housing An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced procurement professional to join a well-established organisation as a Procurement Assurance Manager. This role will play a key part in ensuring organisational compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, leading on procurement reporting requirements, stakeholder engagement, and the publication of procurement notices across the full procurement life cycle.Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help embed best practice, improve transparency, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with evolving public procurement legislation. Your new role Lead the development and implementation of processes to ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023. Manage procurement reporting requirements and publication of statutory notices. Provide expert advice, guidance and training to internal stakeholders. Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure regulatory obligations are met. Analyse procurement data, identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement governance and assurance activities. What you'll need to succeed You must have completed the TPP qualification as an essential requirement with a higher preference on a deep-dive course Knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023 requirements. Experience working within a regulated procurement environment. Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Experience interpreting procurement data and producing meaningful analysis. CIPS Level 4 qualified or working towards qualification. A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware estimator with a strong background in mechanical building services and MEP projects.You will play a key role in preparing, managing, and submitting competitive tenders for a variety of mechanical and MEP projects, whilst identifying value engineering opportunities and mitigating commercial risk.Key Responsibilities Review and analyse technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Prepare detailed and accurate cost plans and tender submissions. Quantify labour, materials, plant, specialist equipment, and subcontract packages. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. Identify commercial risks and opportunities within tender documents. Develop value engineering solutions to improve project viability and competitiveness. Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, and supply chain partners throughout the tender process. Support project handovers to operational teams following successful tender awards. Essential Requirements Minimum 5-7 years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction, engineering, or MEP contractor sector. Strong understanding of mechanical building services, plant equipment, and construction methods. Proven experience preparing detailed tender submissions for mechanical projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software packages. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated procurement professional to join their busy team. Your new role As Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of multiple fit-out projects. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, obtaining competitive pricing, producing procurement schedules, tracking project costs against budgets, and managing purchase orders from placement through to delivery. You will work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, Estimators and suppliers to ensure materials are available when required and projects remain on schedule and within budget.
