Build by Sets Ltd is a fast-growing building company specialising in high-end residential projects around the Bruton area of Somerset. We build high quality properties and provide our clients with market-leading customer experience. Due to a rapidly increasing workload, we are looking to engage an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a full-time basis. The Role includes working closely with the directors and site teams - you will lead the commercial management of bespoke, high-quality construction projects from tender through to final account. Key Responsibilities include Preparing cost plans, budgets and estimates Tender analysis and subcontractor procurement Valuations, variations and cost reporting Monitoring project costs and cash flow Final accounts and commercial close-out Liaising with clients, architects and subcontractors as required About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction Experience with high-end or bespoke projects vital Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good communication and negotiation skills Based within reasonable distance of Bruton, Somerset Experience in Pro Core construction management software What We Offer Project-based work with flexibility Competitive salary Opportunity to work on high-quality, design-led builds A collaborative, professional and friendly working environment
