We are looking for a reliable Joiner / Handyperson to support site maintenance, fittings, repairs, and general upkeep duties within a busy commercial and manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of joinery and maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Pay Rate: £12.71 to £14.50 depending on experience Hours: 7:45 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday 7:435 to 15:15 Friday Key Responsibilities Carry out general joinery work including repairs, fitting, assembly, and installation Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, patch repairs, fixing doors, locks, shelving, and fixtures Assemble displays, furniture, and shopfitting components where required Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Support site moves, installations, and workspace alterations Maintain clean and safe working areas at all times Report defects, damages, or health & safety concerns promptly Work independently or as part of a maintenance/facilities team Assist with other general site duties as required Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Joiner, Carpenter, Handyperson, Maintenance Operative, or similar role Good practical skills and attention to detail Ability to use a range of hand and power tools Basic knowledge of general building maintenance Ability to work from instructions and meet deadlines Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious Personal Attributes Hard-working and proactive Flexible approach to duties Strong problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Able to work with minimal supervision For more information and to apply get in touch with Tonia at our Loughborough Branch on (phone number removed) to submit your application.
