Maintenance Manager Required in Atherstone to Join Kantor on a Power RDF Power Plant. Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Plant Manager, ensuring the delivery of the maintenance necessary to deliver the safe and effective performance of the installation. Responsible for the planning and management of all day to day engineering, maintenance activities and management of appropriate contract resources at the newly built 8.74MWe Steam Power RDF Power Plant. This shall include ensuring that the asset is maintained to allow safe efficient and reliable operation for the production of power. As a Management member of the team, the Maintenance Manager will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality. Roles and responsibilities: Daily management of the maintenance function of the facility including personnel involved in maintenance and contract staff, while adhering to all relevant legislation and site procedures. Planning of PPM schedules, reviewing plant defects, develop proposals for modifications where appropriate to maintain or improve plant reliability and availability. Oversee the implementation and development of the CMMS system to improve the organisation and effectiveness of all aspects of maintenance. Assist in the planning and oversee outages with the Plant Manager, including scope and specification of work, safety, control and interfaces between all working parties. Assist with the preparation of the site maintenance budget proposals and work within approved budgets. Propose modifications as appropriate to optimise efficiency and cost effectiveness. Ensuring that the relevant procedures are in place to maintain safe systems of work for employees and contractors. Liaise with the Operations team to ensure that the maintenance function is responsive to the overall needs of the business. Ensure compliance with the company's Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems and with all relevant legislation. Manage service agreements, identify new local suppliers and resources to support the business. Be contactable out of hours by telephone, email and attend site during emergency situations and plant breakdowns if they occur out of hours. Chair monthly maintenance meetings and assist with site reporting requirements. Deputise when required for the Plant Manager in case of his/her absence Responsible for the successful implementation and operation of day to day maintenance strategy Responsible for ensuring that all routine maintenance is correctly planned in CMMS by the site maintenance teams Prior to the plant becoming operational, you will be required to have a positive input in to the Maintenance Management System (Spidex). About You Your Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or similar CSA management role with a Tier 1 Main Contractor. Experience delivering large-scale commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial or data centre projects. Experience in working in a live environment and managing across multiple facets serving different stakeholders Experience managing multiple CSA subcontract packages simultaneously. Strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination with MEP trades. Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. Proficient with project management and information management software. Experience in being client facing Your Qualifications Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Chartered status or working towards chartership is desirable. Essential Strong knowledge of civil engineering, structural works, building envelope, architectural finishes and fit-out. Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site logistics. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
