An established renewable energy business is looking to recruit experienced Solar Installers or Roofers to support its growing solar installation team across Reading and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofer with experience working on solar panel installations to join a reputable business known for high standards of workmanship. The successful candidate will work on residential and small commercial projects, supporting the safe and efficient installation of solar mounting systems and roof-based solar works. Key Responsibilities: Carry out roofing works associated with solar PV installations on pitched and other roof types. Install solar mounting systems and prepare roofs for panel installation. Work closely with electricians and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery on site. Ensure roofing works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Identify and report roof defects, access issues or installation challenges before and during works. Maintain a tidy, safe and professional working environment at all times. Follow working at height procedures and all relevant health and safety requirements. Communicate professionally with customers when attending residential properties. Preferred Ideal Experience & Skills Required The successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Previous roofing experience, ideally within solar PV installations. Hard-working, dependable and able to work well as part of a team. Strong awareness of site safety and safe working practices. Presentable, polite and customer focused. Full UK driving licence.
