At least 12 months' experience producing engineering designs within a consultancy or temporary works design environment. Membership of an appropriate professional institution (such as MICE) or working towards professional registration. Experience coordinating engineering designs within multidisciplinary project environments. Ability to undertake independent technical reviews and contribute to hazard and risk assessments. Understanding of CDM Regulations and the responsibilities of Principal Designers, including ERIC principles. Ability to deputise for the Principal Engineer when required.
