Civil Superintendent Carbon Capture & Storage Project Location: Talacre, North Wales UK Contract: 18 months (to project completion) IR35: Outside IR35 Working Pattern: Full-time, up to 5.5 days/week as required Rate : Competitive day rate Ceto Talen t are supporting a major Carbon Capture & Storage project and are looking to engage an experienced Civil Superintendent to support site delivery on a long-term basis. This is a key position overseeing civil construction activities on a complex, large-scale infrastructure project, with a strong focus on coordination, supervision, and safe delivery of works. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day civil works on site, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and programme requirements. Working closely with contractors and site teams, you will play a critical role in supervising works, resolving site issues, and maintaining progress across multiple work fronts. Contract Type: Contract - Outside IR35 Talacre, North Wales - Site Based 12-month contract Competitive day rate Outside IR35 Ceto Talent is representing a global offshore EPC contractor delivering a major Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project, with both onshore and offshore pipeline installation works. Purpose of the position As Mechanical QC Supervisor (Painting & Piping), you will report to the Project Quality Manager and will join our Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project. You will ensure the supervision of mechanical inspection activities and verify the Quality Control Plans implementation. How can you support us? Below are your responsibilities: Check Quality Control Plans with reference to mechanical activities and support the definition and implementation of QC Information System rules Verify availability, adequacy and correct use of equipment and instrumentation for mechanical works Ensure correct receipt, storage, preservation, calibration, handling, identification and traceability of all mechanical materials and equipment Review vendors / suppliers manuals, release notes, Master Record Books and related documentation and strictly monitor the requirements Supervise and check reports and documentation issued by inspectors and verify the collection of required Quality Records Verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans, checking the collection of relevant documentation also for the mechanical completion approval, and that personnel have access to all required project documentation In case of subcontracted activities, verify the correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspections and collecting relevant Quality Control Records Verify the collection and management of documents certifying test, controls and inspections, checking that all records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier Verify that the NCR management process is in place and effective and ensure preparation and handover of the Quality works dossier to the Document Controller What are we looking for? This is a key site leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a visible part in a high-profile energy transition project. The Role You will lead field HSE delivery across an onshore package of work, ensuring safe execution of construction activities and maintaining strong operational standards on site. The position requires a hands-on presence and the ability to engage closely with construction teams and contractors. We are looking for an experienced Demolition Supervisor to support a Carbon Capture Construction Project, which is being built on an existing O&G facility. The Role You will oversee on-site demolition activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with approved methods and UK regulations. Working on a large-scale industrial decommissioning project, you will supervise subcontractors, enforce RAMS, and maintain high HSE standards across all activities.
