The Opportunity We're looking for a Passive Fire Estimator to join an experienced team, supporting the pricing and delivery of passive fire protection and fire door projects nationwide. You'll work closely with the operations and commercial teams, ensuring every proposal reflects our high standards. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. Quantify materials and labour for firestopping and fire door works. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project details. Prepare and submit tenders, including value engineering options. Maintain pricing databases and ensure all proposals meet FIRAS, ASFP, and internal compliance standards. Support project handovers to ensure seamless delivery. What We're Looking For Experience in estimating within fire protection, fire doors , or a related construction discipline . Confidence in interpreting drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and estimating software. Experience with Simpro would be an advantage. A proactive, collaborative mindset someone who enjoys solving problems and improving processes. FIRAS / ASFP knowledge or accreditation is an advantage, but not essential. Why Join Us? The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality installations. This role involves working on security fencing projects, ensuring that all installations meet the required standards of quality and safety. Role & Responsibilities: Installation of Steelwork and Fence structures Informing Lead Fence Installer of deviations from arrangements or additional purchasing requirements. Reporting defects, snags and complaints to Lead Fence Installer Reporting health & safety defects / incidents / accidents and near miss situations to the Lead Fence Installer Ensuring that all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are adhered For promoting good practice of material sustainability (Reuse and/or Recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs. Essential Competencies: Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card Proven record of fencing systems installation. Proven ability to carry out installations. Ability to work to strict deadlines. Able to make decisions and take responsibility. Must have good observational skills especially for Health, Safety and Quality issues. Must be focused on all safety, environmental and quality issues on the construction site. Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel.
