Long term Painter vacancy available in Midlothian, interested? We are looking for a Painter on behalf of one of our clients for a long term contract. The Painter is required to work on void properties and maintenance contracts across Midlothian. This will be long term ongoing work, 12+ months potential for the right candidate. They will be paying 19.50 p/h. Due to the nature of the work a Driving Licence is essential. As we know candidates may currently be on a contract, please let us know the proposed date you may be available for this work, as we are happy to wait for the right candidate. Experience & skills: Experienced Painter with excellent previous experience Ideally have experience working in void and vacant properities or maintenance work Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Ability to wallpaper is not essential but would be a great bonus Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients SVQ/NVQ painting qualifications or Blue/Gold CSCS is essential

Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Telehandler Operator to join our construction team for ongoing long term work. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move, lift, and position materials efficiently across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in commercial driving to contribute to large-scale projects in a dynamic environment. Duties Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials on-site Assist with the movement of heavy equipment such as excavators and other machinery as required Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition and report any faults or issues Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of materials Maintain accurate records of daily operations and equipment usage Support with general site duties when necessary, including assisting with mechanical tasks or equipment setup Skills Proven experience in operating telehandlers in a construction or industrial setting Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues Experience with commercial driving, holding relevant licences and certifications Familiarity with excavators and other heavy machinery is desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and site managers Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a responsible position that combines technical skill with physical activity.
