Construction Administrator Location: Kinmel Bay, North Wales Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 DOE Job Type: Permanent MEP Technical Talent are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business for a Construction Administrator to join their growing team based in Kinmel Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who has experience working within a construction, engineering or technical office environment. Previous Document Control experience is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right individual. The Role Working closely with the project delivery team, you'll play a key role in ensuring project documentation is managed accurately and efficiently throughout the lifecycle of each project. Your responsibilities will include: Managing project documentation and drawing registers. Uploading and issuing drawings and technical documentation. Maintaining electronic document management systems. Ensuring documentation is correctly version controlled. Distributing information to clients, suppliers and project teams. Providing administrative support to engineers and project managers. Assisting with general project administration and reporting. Ideally you'll have: Previous experience within construction, engineering or a similar technical environment. Strong administration and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work on your own initiative. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. M&E Clerk of Works Location: Central London Rate: 350 - 400 per day DOE - 3 DAYS PER WEEK INITIAL About the Role We are currently recruiting an experienced M&E Clerk of Works to support the delivery of a varied programme of mechanical and electrical projects across a prestigious estate in Central London. Working closely with the Project Engineering team, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of installation works, ensuring contractors deliver projects in accordance with specifications, drawings, current regulations and industry best practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clerk of Works, Building Services Engineer or Site Quality Inspector looking to work on technically challenging projects within a unique environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular site inspections of mechanical and electrical installations. Ensure works comply with design specifications, drawings and relevant British Standards. Monitor workmanship and installation quality throughout all project stages. Witness testing and commissioning activities. Produce detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate project records. Identify defects, snags and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are completed. Review contractor RAMS and monitor compliance with Health & Safety legislation. Attend project meetings and provide technical support to Project Managers and Engineers. Liaise with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Support project handovers and review commissioning documentation and O&M manuals. Requirements Previous experience as an M&E Clerk of Works, Building Services Inspector or Site Quality Manager. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and current industry standards. Excellent communication and reporting skills. This is a long-term opportunity working with an established contractor who has secured a major new apartment development due to commence shortly, offering approximately 18 months of continuous work. Initially, you will be supporting the team on the completion stages of a large student accommodation scheme before moving onto the next project a 334 apartment development in Wolverhampton. The Role: Working as the M&E Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating site activities and ensuring mechanical and electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
