Due to sustained success and growth are recruiting for an Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager to join our busy team. The Role: As an Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager you will report directly to the Senior Manager and will be given the responsibility for procuring Electrical quotations for the business. You will also be working closely with Mechanical Estimators to submit Mechanical & Electrical quotations. Projects are located in and around the South West. Duties will include: Review, preparation and submission of Electrical tenders, ensuring that all return date deadlines are met. Preparation and submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) during the tender stage, maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants and design teams to clarify project requirements. Pricing Procurement, sub-contractors, specialist sub-contractors & establish long lead time items etc Ability to measure elements of works and create itemised Bills of Quantities as necessary Finalisation of all tender bids, attend pre-order meetings, secure contracts and hand over package to M&E Contracts Managers. Liaison with clients with regards to Electrical project variations and ensuring that all variations are recorded and instructed where deemed necessary. Creating and maintaining accurate estimating records using Roberts & Prowse estimating software and the Microsoft Office suite of software tools. Proficient commercial / industrial electrical estimating experience Ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings and project specifications A full driving license CSCS an advantage DBS an advantage (Can be applied for) Ideally you will be a Time Served Electrician, progressed as an Estimator having worked in a Commercial, Industrial environment. The Role: As a Plumber & Pipework Fitter you will report directly to the Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers, Site Managers and will be given the responsibility for undertaking Mechanical Plumbing & Pipework Fitting Works within commercial environments in and around Oxfordshire & Reading.
