2. Mains Laying Operative / Mains Installation Supervisor Location: National (various projects across the UK) Contract Type: Job-by-job, potential for full-time Role Overview: We are looking for experienced Mains Laying Operatives or Supervisors to install and maintain high-pressure sprinkler mains for commercial properties nationwide. Teams will work with ductile or PE pipework (up to 355mm diameter) and carry out testing to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lay ductile or PE pipework for sprinkler systems Test and commission mains to required standards Undertake repairs, leak detection, and pipe replacement on existing systems Collaborate with civils teams on site Maintain safe working practices at all times Requirements: L2 NCO Mains Laying qualification Experience in installation and testing of high-pressure pipework Ability to undertake repairs, excavation, and reinstatement Own tools and transport preferred Supervisors: leadership experience and ability to manage a team What We Offer: Competitive rates on a job-by-job basis Opportunities to work on national projects Potential full-time employment for reliable teams Career progression for supervisors into larger site management roles
