Overview of Business We are currently partnered with a 5 National Housebuilder to secure a Contracts Manager to join one of the most successful divisions within the Group. Our client delivers around 800 units a year and are a fast-paced, quality driven developer. As such, they are looking for someone able to work at this pace who is passionate about safety and quality. Job description The role will be responsible for 4 developments at any one time and will ensure compliance on all sites at all times to the company health and safety standards and processes, NHBC standards, building regulations, costs and overall quality standards. The role will be measured by group KPI's. To enable the KPI's to be met this role is required to ensure a smooth flow of communication across the divisional departments and support solving problems effectively. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the site management team is fully resourced, with clear guidelines and supported through regular communication training and development etc Essential experience Experience either as a Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Construction Manager Experience managing build programmes with KPI's. Overview of Business We are currently partnered with a 5 PLC housebuilder who are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in North Scotland. Our client are about to embark on an exciting growth trajectory, they will be increasing the new homes delivered by 50% over the next three years. Job description The role will have the commercial and surveying responsibilities for large sites and will have clear targets to be met for each site. COINS is the current system used and they are looking for someone with the aptitude to embrace this system. Prepare and advise on tender documentation required to enable comprehensive tender submissions to be returned from market Responsible for all cost control procedures, including managing and controlling the budget and valuations by always updating the estimated final costs, and having the ability to show absolute cost and value reconciliation. Must be able to control all commercial tasks and responsibilities on large sites. Contribute to the conceptual designs/options to ensure the design is kept within the budgeted values. Compile Site Start budget, liaising with all Departments to ensure document is completed on time to allow the construction to commence, and Sales to start marketing Analyse and report on costs and cash flow using the support systems available.
