Qualifications University degree (Naval Architect, Deck officers, Marine Engineer & electricians) from a recognized University. Min. 3 years of experience in maritime business. Self-disciplined and continuous learner. Adequate physical fitness in order to perform regular functions on the job, e.g. climbing pilot ladders & tanks, crew boat launches, voyage surveys. English proficiency both in speaking and writing. Flexibility in traveling is required. Availability outside normal working hours if the job requires. Able to work independently on surveys. Advantages Passed China MSA surveyor examination (Group A). Related newbuilding or fleet in service experience with IACS member society. Technical competencies: Understanding of class, statutory surveyor work and responsibilities. Maritime Management System audit experience.
