Service/Dig Team Operative (Boundary Box installations) Cambridge Job Description/Role We are looking to recruit Dig teams to support our client with the installation of boundary boxes on their network. Preferably we are looking for people with previous experience in this field, clean water reinstatement, dig team, ground worker etc. Working on one of our leading contracts you will be responsible for installing new Boundary Boxes for Water Meters where required and remedial works also where required. Operative Requirements: Previous water meter boundary box installation experience ideal Experience working with cold lay materials Typical requirements: NRSWA, CAT/Genny, Abrasive Wheels, Shea Water, First Aid etc. Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points and C+E to allow towing of trailers. Ability to use handheld IT device to complete and record jobs Ability to pass a DBS check if necessary Willingness to develop within the industry The Package: Market leading rates of pay PPE will be supplied Vehicle and fuel card will be provided Mobile phone provided Opportunity to progress and develop new skills within the industry In-House support with dedicated training and development centre. Water Leakage Technician Currently looking to recruit a Water Leakage Technician on a permanent basis to cover multiple sites across a geographical regions across the UK including South East, North East and North West to name a few. In this role, the Water Leakage Technician will carry out planned and reactive work to minimise leakage from the water network assets. This is achieved by leakage detection campaigns by utilising a variety of techniques (listening, correlation, step testing, acoustic logging etc). The successful candidate for this role will have: Knowledge of water supply configurations and hydraulics. Technical expertise in all methods used to account for water network usage. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs, plant machinery, and equipment. Compliance & Safety Maintain accurate service records and ensure all vehicles and equipment meet legal and regulatory requirements.
