We are looking to appoint an Estimator for our client who are a well known manufacturing business based in the East Riding. As Estimator you will be rresponsible for preparing accurate tenders, quotations, and cost plans from client enquiries. The Estimator will provide early-stage budget advice and support the pre-construction process from initial design through to contract award. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, and supporting documentation. Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather and assess pricing information. Develop and issue enquiry packages and manage the timely return of quotations. Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to complete take-offs and measurements. Evaluate subcontractor returns, identifying risks and opportunities. Collaborate with internal pre-construction and sales teams to align proposals with client expectations. Maintain accurate tender records and ensure consistency across all submissions. Qualifications Strong numerical skills with good knowledge of current construction rates. Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software. JCT D&B and NEC3 contract forms experience (advantageous). Commercially astute and detail-focused. Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects. HNC/HND or Degree in Construction (preferred). Minimum 5 years experience in an estimating role within Design & Build, Main Contracting, or Modular Construction. Our client, a manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager. We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to represent the business in a positive manner whilst ensuring compliance across multiple sites. The successful manager must have hands on experience within a manufacturing and or construction, driving CI and implementing RAMS. As the main on-site point of contact for health, safety, and quality matters, you ll ensure compliance with relevant regulations and drive continuous improvement. You ll work closely with project teams to review RAMS, investigate incidents, and manage non-conformances aligned with ISO 9001 quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions • Represent the company on-site for all health, safety, and quality-related issues • Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement with site teams and clients • Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site coaching where needed • Identify, log, and assist in resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) • Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, investigations, and compliance actions • Conduct regular site inspections across various construction and installation projects nationwide • Review and advise on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for current and upcoming works Essential Qualifications & Experience: • NEBOSH • Valid CSCS Card • UK driving licence • Proven experience in construction or industrial installation environments • Confident working independently and professionally representing the company on-site • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on H&S professional looking to make a meaningful impact on site safety and quality.
