Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful shopfitting and commercial fit-out contractor based in Yatton, North Somerset, which is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial delivery of shopfitting and fit-out projects. Prepare estimates, tenders, budgets and valuations. Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and negotiations. Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability. Manage variations, cost reporting and final accounts. Liaise with clients, suppliers and site teams. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and encourage repeat business. Undertake site visits to monitor progress and costs. Requirement Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within shopfitting or commercial fit-out. Strong knowledge of estimating, tendering, cost control and final accounts. Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full UK driving licence. Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is looking for an experienced Site Manager for a long-term construction project in Weymouth, Dorset, with an immediate start available. We are looking for someone with a strong background in managing internal trades, finishing works, snagging and taking projects through to completion and handover. Experience across residential, commercial, fit-out or refurbishment projects would be considered, provided you have a proven track record of managing the final stages of construction. Key Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day site operations, with a particular focus on internal works and finishing trades. Managing and coordinating subcontractors, including carpenters, decorators, dryliners, plumbers, electricians and other finishing trades. Ensuring works are completed to programme and to a high standard. Managing snagging, defects and remedial works ahead of completion. Coordinating final inspections and ensuring areas are ready for handover. Maintaining health and safety standards across the site. Liaising with subcontractors, clients and the wider project team. Requirements Proven experience working as a Site Manager. Strong experience managing internal trades, finishing works, snagging and handovers. Background in residential, commercial, fit-out or refurbishment projects. Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid. Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple trades.
