Contract Structural Engineer 12 Months (Initially) Aberdeen/Hybrid (3 days per week on-site) 50-55 per hour (Inside IR35) Start date ASAP iO Associates has partnered with an Oil & Gas client in the recruitment of a Structural Engineer. Please see below for details about the role: Work tasks: Contribute in CTR-activities/offers, both installation and project related studies Installation follow-up, red mark-up documentation, final documentation Offshore surveys, installation follow up or yard stay can be actual Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work Contribute in project(s) and deliver on time and budget assigned work tasks Report costs, progress and deviation to technical lead/package engineer or project managers Experience/ Knowledge: 3D design of offshore steel structures (Inventor/E3D) Calculation of steel structures and details (Ansys, STAAD, and Sesam GeniE) 2D design experience (Autocad/Microstation) Good theoretical understanding concerning statics and steel structures Practical knowledge with fabrication of steel structures Petroleum industry standards, rules, and regulations such as Norsok, DNV and Eurocode If this is of interest - submit an application to be considered!
