I'm currently supporting a client who are looking for a CDM Advisor to join their team on a major project based in Goole. This is a contract role, outside IR35, offering a competitive day rate of 400 per day. The role is focused on ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with CDM Regulations. You'd be working closely with project teams and contractors to make sure all health and safety requirements are in place from start to finish. What you'll be doing: Supporting design and site teams with CDM compliance. Reviewing risk assessments and method statements. Carrying out site inspections and audits. Helping to close out actions from incidents and investigations. Building good relationships with site managers, engineers, and contractors. What we're looking for: Experience in construction or engineering environments. Strong knowledge of health & safety and CDM Regulations. NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification. Confident in working with teams on site and advising on best practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who's already worked in health & safety/CDM and wants to step into a busy project with a clear remit.

This is a great opportunity to take on a high-profile caseload of major applications while working on a hybrid basis. The role: Managing a caseload of major planning applications through to decision. Preparing officer reports and recommendations for committee and under delegated powers. Handling planning appeals and representing the council at inquiries where needed. Advising councillors, colleagues, and the public on planning matters. Keeping up to date with planning law, policy, and case law. Providing support to junior officers and deputising for senior management where required. Key requirements: RTPI membership and a postgraduate qualification in planning . Strong experience of major planning applications at senior level (local authority background preferred). Excellent knowledge of planning law, policy, and case law . Strong report writing, communication, and political awareness skills. Full UK driving licence (site visits required).
