Our client requires experienced Logistics Coordinators for a long term project in the Reading area: Role: Logistics Coordinator Industry: Construction Location: Reading Rate: £20 per hour Contract: 18 months Hours 07 45 JD: Role Overview Key Responsibilities Leadership & Communication - Conduct and participate in daily morning briefings to communicate plans, hazards, and key priorities. - Communicate proactively with site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal teams to understand and support project logistics needs. Operational Excellence - Manage all logistics activities to meet project requirements and timelines. - Oversee the safe delivery, distribution, and storage of materials across site, ensuring they reach the correct areas and individuals. - Ensure all materials are correctly recorded, deducted from stock, and documented accurately in accordance with project controls. - Check all delivery notes for accuracy and submit signed documentation to the office daily. - Ensure plant and calibrated equipment are issued only to authorised supervisors, recorded appropriately, and maintained in good working order. - Update the calibration register and maintain working hyperlinks to current certifications.
