The role We are recruiting a number of experienced labourers to join an established civils team on a key infrastructure scheme. You'll be working across a range of tradessupport and finishing activities in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work on a well-managed project with a reputable contractor. Key duties Application of bitumen-based waterproofing systems to structures, abutments, and below-ground elements. Screeding, tamping, floating, and hand-finishing concrete pours to specified tolerances. Assisting trades, maintaining a clean and safe site, handling materials, and supporting the wider site team as required. Off-loading, storing, and distributing materials around site including bagged products, reinforcement, and plant consumables using safe manual handling techniques Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times removing waste, clearing spillages, and ensuring walkways, access routes, and work zones are free from obstruction or trip hazards Working at all times in accordance with site-specific RAMS, method statements, and COSHH assessments, wearing correct PPE, reporting near misses and hazards promptly, and cooperating fully with site safety inspections What we're looking for Proven background on civils projects Experience working on highways, bridges or similar civil engineering schemes desirable Valid CSCS card Strong commitment to health & safety practices on site Reliable, punctual, and a team player Right to work in the UK
