Projects Manager Bespoke Joinery & Cabinetry Location: Thame, Oxfordshire Salary: £55,000 £70,000 depending on experience Full-time, permanent Aldem is recruiting an experienced Projects Manager for an established specialist in bespoke joinery and cabinetry for the luxury residential market. This is an opportunity to take a senior role within a skilled team, managing high-quality projects and working closely with main contractors, architects and interior designers. Reporting to the Managing Director, you ll oversee multiple live projects from order acceptance through design, manufacture and finishing to installation and handover. Alongside project delivery, you ll take responsibility for commercial performance and JCT contract administration. The role Manage project programmes, budgets and resources, keeping work on schedule and within budget. Coordinate design approvals, procurement, manufacture, finishing and installation. Act as the main contact for clients, contractors, architects and interior designers. Work closely with design, production, finishing and finance teams to resolve issues and maintain progress. Plan site installations, including surveys, access, logistics, resourcing and health and safety documentation. Manage JCT contract obligations, payment applications, valuations and variations. Monitor project costs, margins and final accounts, identifying commercial risks early. Oversee quality, snagging, handover and aftercare. About you You ll have proven experience managing multiple high-value projects within bespoke joinery, cabinetry, fit-out or a closely related sector, with a strong understanding of the design, manufacture and installation process. You ll also bring: Strong planning and scheduling skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Practical experience of JCT contracts, valuations, payment applications and variations. Confident communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate teams across departments. Excellent attention to detail and a calm, proactive approach to problem-solving. Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office. A full UK driving licence for site visits. Experience in high-end residential projects, a joinery manufacturing or installation background, and relevant project management qualifications or site certifications would be advantageous. Draughtsperson / Technical Designer / CAD Technican Aldem is working with an established specialist contractor within the scenic construction and bespoke production sector who is looking to appoint an experienced Draughtsperson to join their technical team. This is a hands-on technical role working across a variety of bespoke projects, taking concepts and designs through to detailed construction, workshop and CNC drawings. The Role You will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, working closely with the wider design, project and workshop teams to ensure projects can be manufactured efficiently and delivered to the required standard. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, considering construction methods, materials, budgets and programme requirements when developing technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed construction, workshop and CNC drawings. Manage drawing packages from initial concept through to manufacture and completion. Work across multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines. Liaise closely with workshop and production teams regarding fabrication queries and drawing amendments. Develop appropriate construction methods, techniques and material specifications. Identify alternative materials and build methods where appropriate. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients and other project stakeholders. Attend occasional site surveys and client meetings when required. Experience Required Previous draughting/design experience within scenic construction, bespoke manufacturing, joinery, fit-out or a similar workshop-based environment. Strong understanding of construction methods involving both joinery and metalwork. Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Strong 2D and 3D AutoCAD capability. Experience producing detailed drawings suitable for workshop manufacture. Ability to manage several projects and work to tight deadlines. Strong communication and organisational skills. Comfortable working closely with workshop and production teams. Able to adapt to changing designs, specifications and project requirements. This would suit an experienced CAD Technicain / Draughtsperson who enjoys working on technically challenging, one-off projects and wants to be closely involved with the manufacturing and construction process.
