We are recruiting a Steel Erector to join a Northampton-based manufacturer of industrial capital equipment . The role involves the on-site assembly and installation of large steel structures and machinery frames produced in-house. This position would suit someone with a strong background in structural steel erection or heavy mechanical installation. The Role Erecting and assembling steel structures and equipment frames Working from engineering drawings and method statements Using MEWPs, cranes, and lifting equipment to position components Bolting, aligning, and securing structural assemblies Working both in the workshop and on customer sites as required Following all health and safety procedures at all times The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Steel Erector or in a similar structural role Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings Comfortable working at height and in industrial environments Valid CSCS card preferred Experience using lifting equipment and working alongside crane operations Strong safety awareness and team-focused attitude What s On Offer Competitive pay depending on experience Overtime available Long-term, stable employment Opportunity to work on large-scale industrial equipment projects Supportive and professional working environment ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK NEED APPLY AS NO SPONSORSHIP IS ON OFFER FOR THIS ROLE
