Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function while supporting the wider finance team. Key Responsibilities: Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently. Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes. Reviewing invoice coding and resolving any discrepancies. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving outstanding queries. Assisting with supplier payment runs. Maintaining accurate supplier records within the finance system. Sorting and distributing incoming post relating to the finance department. Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and controls. Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as required. About You: Previous experience working within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger position. Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business. Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems. A proactive approach with a willingness to improve processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to take the next step in their career or for an established AP Supervisor seeking a new challenge within a growing organisation. The Role As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function while managing and supporting a small team. You'll play a key role in ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time, maintaining strong controls and continuously looking for ways to improve processes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support a small Accounts Payable team. Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process. Ensure invoices are processed accurately and within agreed timescales. Manage supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any queries. Support month-end close activities relating to Accounts Payable. Monitor team performance and provide coaching where required. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. About You Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor or Senior Accounts Payable position. Experience managing or mentoring a small finance team. Strong understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach with strong attention to detail. Experience using NetSuite would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential .
