Tractor Operator Location: Halesworth The Role Working as part of an established estate team, your primary responsibility will be operating a forestry tractor with timber crane to extract timber from woodland and timber stacks. Duties will include: Forwarding and extracting timber from woodland areas Grading timber into appropriate categories (milling, firewood, chippable) using your own judgement and experience Loading and transporting timber Supporting wider estate operations, including: Loading and transporting woodchip Power harrowing Low-loader towing Operating modern tractors and telehandlers You must have proven experience operating Valtra tractors (or equivalent) and telehandlers. Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: King s Lynn, Norfolk Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + competitive benefits Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity An established and growing construction business operating across East Anglia is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. The Role The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple projects from tender stage through to final account. The role will suit a commercially astute Senior QS who is confident operating independently while contributing to a wider team strategy. Key Responsibilities Install modular access ramps safely and efficiently at customer sites in line with company standards. Assemble and secure components using hand and power tools. Ensure all work complies with building and safety regulations. Provide clear demonstrations and guidance to customers on proper ramp use. Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on installed systems. Collaborate with Supervisors, Project Managers, and colleagues to meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate installation records, including photos and customer sign-offs. Adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures. Operate company vehicles to transport ramps and materials to various locations. Keep tools and equipment in excellent working condition. Skills & Experience No Experience needed but is willing to learn. Confident using hand and power tools. Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability to site conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Able to read and follow technical drawings and installation instructions. Full UK driving licence (essential). CSCS card (advantageous training can be provided). Health and safety awareness, including manual handling and risk assessment understanding.
