Tractor Operator Location: Halesworth The Role Working as part of an established estate team, your primary responsibility will be operating a forestry tractor with timber crane to extract timber from woodland and timber stacks. Duties will include: Forwarding and extracting timber from woodland areas Grading timber into appropriate categories (milling, firewood, chippable) using your own judgement and experience Loading and transporting timber Supporting wider estate operations, including: Loading and transporting woodchip Power harrowing Low-loader towing Operating modern tractors and telehandlers You must have proven experience operating Valtra tractors (or equivalent) and telehandlers.
