This is an opportunity to join a business known for quality, speed and reliability, working on projects for leading global customers. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a central role in preconstruction activity and work winning strategy. You will collaborate with commercial, sales and design teams to produce accurate and competitive estimates that directly influence project success and business growth. The Opportunity: As a Mechanical Estimator you will play a key role in: Reading and interpreting technical documentation to understand full project requirements Producing accurate cost estimates across mechanical scopes Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive and realistic pricing Preparing clear tender submissions including reports, specifications and supporting data Supporting post tender activities including re quotes, meetings and technical clarifications Your work will directly contribute to securing new projects and ensuring commercially sound project delivery across the UK and Europe. About You: We re looking for someone who can bring: Proven experience as an Estimator (M&E Bias) or similar estimating role within construction Strong understanding of mechanical systems within building or mission critical environments Ability to interpret drawings, models and bills of quantities with accuracy Confidence working both independently and collaboratively across cross functional teams Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail Clear communication skills with the ability to present technical information effectively Experience using MS Office and CAD or 3D take off tools such as Revit, Navisworks or BIM platforms Experience of working in mission critical facilites is desirable but not essential The Benefits and Package: In return, you ll enjoy: Salary Range - £50,000 - £70,000 DOE Hybrid working model with flexibility Opportunity to work on high profile European projects Supportive and inclusive working environment aligned to a human first ethos Ongoing development within a growing and ambitious organisation How to Apply: This exciting Mechanical Estimator opportunity is being managed by Consortium Professional Recruitment, a trusted recruitment partner. This is a pivotal appointment, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of an established supply chain function and evolve it to support the next phase of business growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships, improving processes and influencing adoption across teams. You will act as a key stakeholder across the business, ensuring seamless collaboration between estimating, buying, subcontract, SHEQ and site teams while strengthening supplier performance and compliance. The Opportunity: As a Supply Chain Manager you ll play a key role in: Managing and developing a robust, compliant and high-performing supply chain across construction trades and material suppliers Acting as a central stakeholder to align estimating, buying, subcontract, SHEQ and site management teams Reviewing, auditing and maintaining supplier compliance, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date Identifying, onboarding and developing new suppliers while strengthening existing relationships Implementing supplier grading, performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives Your work will directly contribute to enabling sustainable business growth and ensuring operational excellence across all project delivery stages About You: We re looking for someone who can bring: Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager within construction, civils or infrastructure environments Experience managing supplier compliance, auditing and performance frameworks The ability to think strategically and shape direction, while also being willing to roll their sleeves up and support the team with day-to-day tasks when needed.
