Our client is a well-established refurbishment contractor delivering high-end residential and commercial projects across Central London. With a strong project pipeline and a commitment to excellence, they are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor/Manager to oversee and implement best-in-class safety practices on sites in central London. Key Responsibilities: Carry out regular site inspections and internal audits Prepare and review site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation Lead on-site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for staff and subcontractors Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions Work closely with project and site managers to ensure safety is integrated into all planning and execution Support continuous improvement of the company s Health & Safety Management Systems Candidate Requirements: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification) Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or refurbishment sector In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations and relevant HSE legislation Confident communicator with strong organisational and reporting skills Proactive, with a practical approach to risk management on busy, live sites Valid CSCS card and UK driving licence preferred

A growing, well-established building and construction company delivering high-quality projects across the residential , commercial and public sector are looking for an experienced and motivated Bid writer/Manager to help secure new work and support the continued growth of the business. The Role You will take ownership of the end-to-end bidding process, preparing high-quality submissions for a range of construction and building contracts typically up to 1m in value. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working independently within a small team environment. Key Responsibilities Identify and assess new tender and bid opportunities Prepare, write, and manage high-quality PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions Liaise with internal teams to gather technical, commercial, and financial information Ensure all bids are compliant, compelling, and submitted on time Develop and maintain bid libraries, templates, and case studies Review feedback from unsuccessful bids and implement improvements Manage tender portals and client communications during the bid process About You Proven experience as a Bid Writer or Bid Manager, ideally within construction or related sectors Strong written communication and editing skills Good understanding of construction terminology, processes, and procurement Highly organised with excellent time management skills Comfortable working in a small business environment and managing multiple deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with public sector frameworks and portals (desirable but not essential)

Well-established, small building contractor based in East London, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London and the surrounding areas require an experienced Quantity surveyor to join their team and play a key role in the commercial management of their projects. Reporting to the Directors, you will take full commercial responsibility for 3-4 projects from pre-construction through to final account. This is a hands-on role offering real autonomy and the opportunity to influence commercial strategy within a growing business. Key Responsibilities : Managing all commercial aspects of projects from tender to final account Preparing cost plans, budgets, and feasibility assessments Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration Valuations, variations, and interim applications for payment Cost reporting and cash flow forecasting Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and margin targets Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams You will be : Experienced as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 4 years at Senior level Have experience working for a main contractor Strong knowledge of JCT contracts Proven experience managing projects independently Excellent negotiation and communication skills Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred) RICS accreditation (desirable but not essential)
