Established building contractor based in Hertford, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London and the surrounding areas require a Quantity surveyor to join their team and play a key role in the commercial management of their projects. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take commercial responsibility for 3-4 projects from pre-construction through to final account. Projects range in value from 500k to 5m across public and private sectors Key Responsibilities : Managing all commercial aspects of projects from tender to final account Preparing cost plans, budgets, and feasibility assessments Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration Valuations, variations, and interim applications for payment Cost reporting and cash flow forecasting Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and margin targets Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams You will be : Experienced building and construction Quantity Surveyor Strong knowledge of JCT contracts Proven experience managing projects independently Excellent negotiation and communication skills Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Recognised qualifification in Quantity Surveying

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a supply chain coordinator to oversee supplier management across multiple construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, plant, equipment, and services required to support project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cost efficiency, supplier performance, and supply chain resilience. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. Manage procurement activities for construction materials, plant, equipment, and subcontracted services. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service levels to achieve best value. Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Identify supply chain risks, including shortages, delays, and cost fluctuations. Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, finance, and commercial departments. Prepare regular reports on procurement performance and cost savings You will have: Experience as a Supply chain coordinator, Procurement manager, or similar role within building and construction Good knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, and supplier management. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Strong commercial awareness and cost management capabilities. Experience of managing multiple suppliers and project requirements simultaneously. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

We are working with a reputable building contractor who are currently seeking a reliable Carpenter/ Multi-Trader to join our team. The role involves carrying out a variety of building, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks across residential and public sector commercial projects. Projects locations will generally be Kent,Surrey and South London This position is ideal for someone with site based Carpentry experience but with a broad range of trade skills . Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Carpenter or multi-trade on construction sites. Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Understanding of Health & Safety practices on site. Full UK driving licence (essential). CSCS card (desirable). Personal Qualities Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Professional attitude with good customer service skills. Positive team player with flexibility to help where needed. Able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
