Igne are seeking to appoint Site Labourers to become part of our drilling team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and progressive geotechnical contractor based out of one of our Scottish operations in Hamilton . We offer above industry pay, which includes lots of opportunities for overtime and regular bonuses, along with generous subsistence and inconvenience payments when working away from home. Working with a Lead Driller you would provide support with the safe set up and operation of a variety of drilling rigs for site investigation boreholes. This is a role where full training will be provided so we are really looking for someone that has a full UK driving licence with the right attitude, comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and willing to be away from home. We will invest all the time and energy needed to provide you with the skills you need and a career path for the future. We are looking for a dedicated Plant Fitter to join our team in the South East/Kent area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Igne s plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency. As a Plant Fitter you will service and repair plant equipment, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, keep accurate maintenance records, and ensure all work meets health and safety standards. The role also involves coordinating maintenance to reduce downtime and providing technical support to the wider team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of plant according to manufacturer guidelines. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities and minimise downtime. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
