Senior Architect Multi-Disciplinary Practice Abingdon, Oxfordshire (Hybrid) Billy Associates is working with an established design and construction practice in Abingdon. They are looking for an experienced, ARB-registered professional to lead technical delivery and develop their design team. This is a senior role covering design leadership, contract administration and business development. You will run multidisciplinary schemes worth up to £10 million, contribute to larger programmes and mentor project leads and technologists along the way. Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist Architecture Practice Oxford Billy Associates is working with an established multi-disciplinary design and construction business in Oxford. They are looking for an experienced technician or technologist to join their architecture team at a senior level. You will apply strong building science and construction knowledge to manage the design process, find practical solutions and oversee contracts through to handover. Reporting to the Group Director of Architecture, you will also guide junior staff and support the commercial and bid side of the team. The Role Lead schemes from inception: assess client needs, set briefs and manage feasibility studies Develop and present design proposals, making sure they comply with Building Regulations Produce and manage design information through to construction Handle contract administration, site inspections, handovers and client feedback Act as the team s go-to resource for CAD and Revit, including file management to ISO 19650 Plan resources and coordinate sub-consultants and third-party contracts Help recruit, train and appraise staff, and contribute to team improvement Update revenue forecasts and pipeline data, and report on progress and profitability Prepare bid proposals, PQQs and tender submissions to win new work Promote a culture of safety, quality, integrity and teamwork About You Solid construction industry background with a proven record of delivering projects Strong Revit and CAD skills, including 3D, with working knowledge of BIM Level 2 Good understanding of Building Regulations, contracts and health and safety standards Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience MCIAT or TCIAT registration (or working towards it) is preferred Clear communicator with a collaborative, flexible approach Commercially aware and comfortable supporting bids and reporting What s on Offer £45,000 - 50,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm A senior position with leadership responsibility and real influence on how the team runs Varied workload across inception, design and contract delivery Location: Abingdon Oxford Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 Job Type: Permanent, Full Time How to Apply Apply now with an up-to-date CV.
