This role will involve interpreting technical drawings, constructing scenic elements, and contributing to the build and installation of sets to a high standard. This is a hands-on position suited to individuals with strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. £21 £23 per hour

We are currently representing a well-established, family-run commercial flooring contractor based near Colchester, who are looking to appoint a Document Controller to join their team with an immediate start available. Overview This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, close-knit business operating within the commercial flooring sector. The role will involve supporting Project Managers and ensuring all project documentation is accurately managed, maintained, and easily accessible. Key Responsibilities Managing and maintaining project documentation across internal systems Supporting Project Managers with administrative and document control duties Updating and organising project folders with new and revised information Compiling and issuing documentation including O&M manuals and RAMS Ensuring all documentation is correctly stored and version controlled Liaising with internal teams to ensure documentation is complete and up to date Requirements Previous experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and OneDrive Ability to organise and manage large volumes of documentation efficiently Experience compiling O&Ms and RAMS Familiarity with Procore is advantageous but not essential Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Benefits 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Competitive salary dependent on experience Opportunity to join a supportive, family-run business Stable, long-term position within a growing company

Role Overview As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from inception through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Projects are predominantly located across London and Essex, so flexibility to travel between sites is essential. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects simultaneously across London and Essex Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with specifications Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular progress updates Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times Identify and resolve any project issues or risks efficiently Support the continued growth and development of the business Requirements Proven experience in project management within a commercial construction environment (essential) Flooring experience is not essential , but would be advantageous Strong organisational and leadership skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Full UK driving licence Package Salary: Approximately 60,000 per annum (dependent on experience) 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Travel between projects covered

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the construction of high-quality sets for a variety of projects, including film, TV, sporting events, and brand events.
