They are looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman to support a site near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire , starting January 2026 for approximately 3 months . Requirements: Proven experience working for a housebuilder in a finishing or supervisory role. SMSTS (preferred) along with strong knowledge of health & safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to drive snagging and quality standards. Confident coordinating trades and ensuring work meets programme timescales. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Duties Include: Overseeing all finishing works, snagging, and quality checks through to completion. Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring defects are resolved efficiently. Maintaining high standards ahead of inspections and handovers. Reporting progress and issues to site management. Start: January 2026 Duration: Up to 3 months

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the construction of high-quality sets for a variety of projects, including film, TV, sporting events, and brand events. Key Responsibilities: Construct scenic elements from timber, sheet materials, and modular components Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of finish Safely operate power and hand tools Collaborate with other trades and departments on-site Requirements: Proven experience in set construction or similar carpentry-based environments Strong understanding of scenic carpentry techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Local to the Maldon (Essex) area or able to reliably commute Benefits: Opportunity to work with a respected and established set builder A creative, hands-on working environment Possibility of ongoing work on future projects Competitive rate

As they expand in the UK, they are seeking talented professionals to help shape the future of modern workspaces. They are currently seeking an Office Furniture Fitter to join the team on a permanent basis, reporting to their office in Barking (London). As an Office furniture fitter your primary responsibility will be to deliver and install Office furniture to various locations, the majority of which will be within the city of London however further distances are to be expected. Further responsibilities will include dealing with timelines, assisting the warehouse admin staff with scheduling deliveries and installations if required and providing signed paperwork at the end of each installation without fail using our smart phone app. You will also need to provide technical and specification details in regards to snagging works ensuring both photographs and detailed reports are provided to the Logistics Co-ordinator and or Project Managers. You will be tasked to ensure the van is always clean and fully stocked with all required stock parts notifying the Logistics co-ordinator of low stock levels. The use of a company van for delivery and Installation works only provided, the cleanliness of the van will be your responsibility. The successful applicant shall be provided a smart phone. Requirements: Applicants must have a clean, UK driving licence Experience in Fitting Strong attention to detail Excellent problem solving skills Customer service skills (client facing) Flexibility (Occasional weekend work to be expected) Commitment to health and safety Benefits: Salary: £30k - £35k per year Starting: ASAP Company pension 25 days Holiday
