Our client is a large specialist sub-contractor based in Ilford.They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has experience within a subcontractor environment and with knowledge of Dry Lining, Steel Framing Systems (SFS), Partitioning, Suspended Ceilings, Plastering, Screeding, Rendering and Fire Stopping. This role involves Drylining Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities & Duties. Tracking costs and labour through the project. Preparing costs for variations. Producing monthly valuations. Carry out full construction take off, prepare construction cost plan, track costs & Labour costs efficiency through the project. Prepare subcontract packages for procurement, agree contracts and manage through to final account.

Structural Steel Draughtsman needed, ideally with experience of using Advance Steel Software. You will be creating models and details of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork. Good AutoCAD 2D Draughtsman with 5 plus years fabrication experience will be considered and retrained. This is a long term permanent job, so applicants with steady employment history are preferred.

Senior Quantity Surveyor needed to join a well-established demolition and remediation contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK. This hybrid role requires site attendance in Snowdonia two days per week, presence at the Birmingham office two days per week, and one day working from home. Due to the travel requirements, the ideal candidate will be based in or around Shrewsbury, providing a practical central location between both sites. The Role You will take full commercial responsibility for demolition and remediation projects from pre-contract through to final account, ensuring strong cost control, contractual compliance, and overall commercial performance.
